Using the same style frame as our metro ladies bike, the Elegance features a 5 speed Sturmey Archer internal gear hub. With a full chainguard giving a sophisticated retro look and protecting the user from moving parts. A lightweight, easy to use city bike.
This aluminium 5 speed ladies shopper style bike is designed for durability and comfort. It includes a traditional wicker basket and basket support bracket, 5 speed sturmey archer hub gears and an old fashioned fully enclosed chainguard to protect the chain, cogs and your skirt!
Other features include full mudguards front and rear with stays and a lightweight alloy pannier rack to carry extra luggage when you need it.
Frame
Female specific frame, step through style for getting on and off easier. Frame manufactured using lightweight alloy to reduce the bikes weight and to make riding easier over longer distances.

Alloy height-adjustable stem and low rise handle bar . Giving you full adjustment so you can sit upright if necessary, the dutch-style handlebars give more comfort as less pressure is applied to your wrists and you don't need to grip the handlebars as tightly. Also comes with comfort handlebar grips, ergonomically designed for city riding.
Fitted Extras
Front and rear mudguards with stays, for full protection in the wet.
Alloy rear carrier to take pannier bags if necessary, also compatible with the rear rack baskets available from Raleigh.
Alloy Propstand to stand the bike up when your hands are full. Ideal for situatiosn when you haven't got a bike rack or tree to lean the bike against.
Fully enclosed plastic chainguard, a lightweight chainguard to protect your chain from road dust, rain and muddy water - and to protect your trousers or skirt from oil and grease!
